Harrah’s Entertainment prepares for United States to legalizes online Gambling
Everyone loves free stuff and casinos above others are well versed when it comes to free stuff. Harrah’s Entertainment is now luring in United States players with a play for free casino to get ready for when the United States Government legalizes Online Gambling. At one point, Harrah’s Entertainment was strongly against the legalization of online gaming in the United States because they felt it would take away from the revenue they were generating in their land based casinos. Since, they have opened a mega empire online equipped with casinos as well as poker rooms for the United Kingdom which operate just as their land based casinos, but online.
As of right now, Harrah’s doesn’t have a real money casino open to the United States but is actively placing ads in newspapers such as USA today, online and in TV commercials on ESPN. The success rate of their online casinos mainly comes from their trusted brand of land based casinos. Harrah’s casino’s new campaign gives a tremendous amount of hope to those who are for legalizing online gambling. Since the idea has been around for quite some time and they’ve just now made a huge step in that direction, it makes people feel as though the decision may be coming sooner than later.
This new “play for free” casino gives players the opportunity to test out the software, as well as the customer service. Check out the many games available and find their favorites so that when the casino opens for real money play, those players will be ahead of the game and ready for the action. Just a few short months ago, one of the biggest enemies of online gaming would have to be the Las Vegas casinos. Though online casinos pose as no competition for the atmosphere the Las Vegas strip has to offer, it still had some casinos campaigning against the possibility. It seems as though now, more and more casino giants from the strip are testing out their own marketing strategies for their own online casino brands. This was definitely a “if you can’t beat em’ join em’” type of situation. Now, Las Vegas casino giants can be there for their loyal players in both land and online based casinos.
Another group who may be against the legalization of online gaming in the United States would have to be casino affiliates. Because most states would strengthen the UIGEA upon legalizing online gambling, the need for affiliates may be no more. With legalizing online gaming state to state, the sites would be regulated and would only allow players to play at casinos governed by their state or the federal government.
