Any good Visual Basic project ideas?

I’m a high school student and we’re taking up Visual Basic for our Computer class. Could someone please suggest three good project proposals for Visual Basic. They can’t be too hard because we just started learning. Some of the examples our teacher gave us were things like making an electronic table of elements, a simple memory game or Sudoku game. Thank you so much!

We did a Hangman game as one of our first projects.

It’s a very good way of learning some basic stuctures and functions. You can have all the necessary componants on the screen (i.e. the Gallows and Hangman) as seperate pictures and hide them all when the game starts and slowly reveal each one as the case progresses i.e.

picArm1.visible = true .

Another easy one would be a simple brain train type game for numbers. Randomly generate 2 numbers from 0-99 and then +, -, * or / then and wait for an input.

Then maybe a basic word processor, Like a clone of notepad. Simple text input with saving/opening/printing. All very easy to do in the .net framework.

Hope this helps and have fun!
